Taking Time Newsletter – Tips for Getting Back on Track + Weekly Meal Plan

Hi Reader,

I hope this email finds you well! I’m so happy you’re here, and I wanted to check in and share what’s been happening on my end as well as some helpful tips for your week.

What I'm Taking Time for Right Now - Getting Back on Track

Life has been a little crazy lately, and I’m sure many of you can relate. It’s been a whirlwind these past few weeks! We took a family trip to Florida in mid-September, and since we got back, it’s been one thing after another—my car was totaled in an accident (don’t worry, everyone’s okay), our toddler has been sick, and we’re scrambling to find a new car. To top it off, my son has decided to start waking up an hour earlier, so my precious morning me-time has been nearly nonexistent.

But, in times like this, I rely on my routines. When life feels overwhelming, having a written plan really helps, even if I need to adjust or skip some things. For example, I can skip sweeping or laundry when things are too hectic because my routine keeps the mess from getting out of control. Check out my post on how to create a realistic stay-at-home mom routine here.

I’ve also been using my master to-do list like I mention in my time management post here to make sure none of the one-off tasks fall through the cracks. What do you do when life gets crazy? I’d love to hear your tips (or what’s not working for you) because we’re all in this together!
